Our friends Dana and Erik hosted a pizza night for all of us. Just as the babies were melting down, at least ours were, the parents had the ingenious idea to line 'em all up for a mugshot....

7 Babies on the couch and the little one said "roll over, roll over!".

Left to right- Ashley, Lucy, Marigny, Greta, Meadow, Lauren and Will, what a ladies man!

Happy Mardi Gras Y'all! Alas, our mail was delivered today which means we live in a place that does not cease all government operations on this Fat Tuesday. That's right, for some reason that has needs no legislation, the US Postal Service gets an off the books holiday in NOLA. Gotta love that kind of dedication to revelry. I am lobbying my Hubby to make next year's Carnival Season the girls' first. We will have to start working on our special bead catching ladder. If you have never seen one, they are just a run of the mill ladder with a child's seat built on top for the kiddies to catch beads over the crowds. I can not stress the WOODEN ladder part enough. I had a "ladder incident" my first Mardi Gras that pains my tooshie to think about. Ah, those Mardi Gras Memories.....Do you know what it means to miss New Orleans?

Oo-la-la Lucy here. I am a little shy and not sure if I want to come out yet. Mom put something on my face and I haven't had a chance to look in the mirror. Thank goodness she left this crazy umbrella for me to hide under.

Don't laugh OK?

PEEK! How do I look?

Bonjour! Je suis Mardi Gras Marigny!!

Que? You don't believe moi? I reek of Mardi Gras!

Well, that would mean I smell like bloody marys from Le Bon and I am a titch young for those. Maybe in a few years. Au revoir mon amis!!
We waited and watched and watched and waited for Nana to come visit......

When she got here she showed us how to play with Tchoupi......

And let us sit on her lap. Thanks for visiting Nana!

We turned 24 weeks old on the 13th. Our limited math skills indicate that we are 6 months old if you count the weeks and since there is no February 29th this year let's just say we are officially 6 months. Wow, half a year already!

Me, Lucy Bear, cuteness in a pink hat.

Still cute, but tired, in a pink hat.
Our big news from this weekend is that we switched from sleeping in our co-sleeper to a crib in Mom and Dad's room. OK, it might not seem like a big deal to you but we were rolling over eachother in those cramped quarters, now we have a ton more space. We are gearing up for our first Valentines Day and wearing all the pink we can this week. Stay tuned for Valentines Day Hat Blogging!!!!

Long-johns and bunny slippers are our wardrobe of choice. We are actually going out today since the temperature is supposed to be above 0*F. 10*F is the forecast high. Currently it is -7*F and feels like -17*F so we are going to wait a bit before braving the cold. Hence the long-johns and bunny slippers.

Today we took Lucy and Marigny to the Como Park Conservatory in St. Paul. I think we are going to ask if we can move in for the remainder of winter. They should let us, right? I feel rejuvenated and I think the girls do too. We had not left the house in over 2 weeks because of that nasty cold. We met our friend Sarah and her daughter Johanna at the Conservatory, Nick joined us a little later. We forgot to take pics of all the girls together though, oops! Enjoy the photos we did take......
