There's a break in the cold weather, finally! 41*F feels like a dream. We played outside with our Mama and Dada and made our first snowman. Dada said it is the first snowman he remembers building too.

CABIN FEVER: PART II

Little Lulu tried to pierce her own ears by bouncing her head off the corner of the coffee table. This happened a couple of weeks ago and her ear seems to be healing nicely, 6 stitches in total. When Maringy had stitches she started calling the her "ladybugs". She still looks at her hand and says "My ladybugs flew away.". Kids are great! Ladybug-stitches are not.

About a week ago our Mama and Dada ditched us for the sun and sand of Cancun. Well, did we have FUN while they were gone. Our Nana and Grandma taught us how to make chocolate pudding. Cancun-schmanschmoon, you can't beat homemade chocolate pudding!

They took a day trip to Playa del Carmen to visit some New Orleans amigos.....

This was the sunrise on their last day in Cancun. They said what made it even more beautiful was knowing that it was the last time the sun would rise on the Bush administration. I know, a little heavy coming from a couple of toddlers, but we are wise beyond our years.

After Mama and Dada got home we had a few friends over to watch the inauguration of our new President! Thanks for hanging out with us Johanna, Estelle and Henry!

More bathroom antics! It is so cold here that we have to find new and interesting things to do inside. Today's high is forecast to be -2*F. We are currently holding at -12*F. And to top that off, our folks are leaving us on Friday for the sunny beaches of the Yucatan. Our plan is to keep trashing bathrooms until someone takes US to the beach.

Why Me, Marigny?!?

People, can you see those? Yeah, those, the red marks on my cheek. Yup, those big red abrasions....

Your eyes do not deceive you, that is a fat lip to go with my puffy, red cheek. Not a perfect Saturday.......sigh.......
