One Day At A Time
Maine, 2010

Day One
After a very early flight out of the Twin Cities (named after us, of course) we landed in Beantown, found our Nana and Grandpa, buckled ourselves in and drove up to East Boothbay. We didn't drive, Dada drove. We don't have enough experience behind the wheel to content with those Massachusetts drivers! This is our home away from home, our Maine cottage......

The perfect room for us!

What a view!

This is Sally's house, just across the Mill Pond from our cottage. Nana, Grandpa and Gigi stayed at Sally's for the week.....

Our first walk in East Boothbay with Grandpa....

Maine is so beautiful, Mom and Dad kept talking about moving there but we wondered, who would live in our Minneapolis house? Any takers?

East Boothbay harbor

On our way to dinner.....

How great is that! A restaurant on a dock!!

Nana explaining why lobsters have rubber bands on their claws.....

Ok, here's the scoop, it looks pretty and all but we just don't like eating lobster! No amount of hugs kisses, begging, pleading, deal making or money can get us to eat lobster. Their antenna's do make lovely magic wands though.....

Sunset on the harbor.....

I'm glad you had a great time. But this lobster thing, your parents are failing you.
