Tuesday Notes

This is what our room looks like sans cribs. One of us, and we are not telling, climbed/launched/fell out of our crib. Mama took our cribs down that very same day. OK, it was Mae-Mae. Did you know that in Mandarin "Mae-Mae" means "little sister". Isn't that amazing?! When did we learn Mandarin?!!
Lucy climbing the chair, Marigny

We had our 2 year appointment last month and didn't fill y'all in on our stats.

Lucy
Weight: 20 lbs. 14 oz., 0%
Height: 30.75 inches, 1% (on the chart, finally!)
Head: 48.6 cm, 78%

Marigny
Weight: 20 lbs. 10 oz., 0%
Height: 32 inches, 9% (even more on the chart)
Head: 48.7 cm, 80%

We will keep eating peanut butter, ice cream and "mo' buttah' " to try to get on the chart for weight. And take our naps. It's much more fun to nap when Papa Bear is around to snuggle with.

What an exciting morning. After the farmer's market we hopped a train and ended up here....
Mill City Ruins

The Stone Arch Bridge and Lucy

We are such hipster toddlers that we tried to break into the Minneapolis-Underground, but somebody locked us out.

Stone Arch Bridge, Pillsbury Sign

If you look closely you can see the new 35W bridge spanning the Mississippi River.

After taking all the sights in, Dada doled out some delicious locally grown grapes. Yummy!

And Mama had refreshments, bubble water of course.

Then these clowns showed up, we were speechless. Have you ever seen anything so alien?

Somebody raised the roof!

Our olfactory senses led us to a feast of pulled pork nachos, hot chocolate, hot dogs, a butterfinger milkshake and the best mini donuts EVER! All from the spectacular Chef Shack (locally grown, locally prepared) at the Mill City Farmer's Market. As long as we are plugging our favorite local foods we should give a shout out to Creperie Mala (Midtown Farmer's Market) who starts or Saturday mornings with the most fab crepes this side of France!

Food like that makes me want to DANCE!

We had to run some of that fuel off, wahoooooooooo! Down the hills......
