We were getting ready to sit down to a nice, quiet lunch when it got really noisy outside.
Mama said there are some sick trees that need to be cut down so the other trees can stay healthy.

We watched the whole show from our porch.

There is goes! It was so loud and the ground shook when the tree landed.

They cut it up.....

And loaded it into a truck.

Even our UPS Guy had to watch for a bit. Mama was so happy to see our UPS Guy because he delivered a very important package....

Screws for to finish our fence! Dada used his big brain to finish the gate. Can you see what he did here? Those grown ups sure do things the hard way!

Mama and Dada finally figured it all out and we have a beautiful fence. Did you know our Papa handmade all of our pickets? Well he did. Thanks Papa, for all your help.

Summer Fun

We took some time off from blogging and have to catch y'all up on our Summer. Let's kick this post off with a shout out to Peter, our good buddy from across the alley.

This summer, our Grandpa Art and Dot-Dot turned 80! That kind of birthday deserves a big party. We drove all the way to Menomonee Falls for this gala.

They even had a pinata, we picked up lots of candy.....

And some crazy lady put that pinata on her head.

Three words.....NAKED MOTORCYCLE TIME!

Then we hopped a plane to Boston. Caught a bus, rented a car and took a little drive out to Concord to see more relations.

Alas, our beach day had to end....

Uncle Jonathan may have missed beach day but he was there to read to us....

And to teach us how to listen to his I Pod.

Did you know we have cousins out in MA? Well, we do, and two of them are twinkies, just like us.

We had another party in Concord, this time to celebrate Mama and Dada's anniversary, Gigi and Grampsi's anniversary, our birthday, and Dada's birthday. That called for balloons!

The balloons kept escaping...

We checked out another beach on our trip, this one was a lot smaller.

Thank you Grampsi and Gigi for such a nice visit to Concord! After an afternoon of travel, poof, we were back in Wisconsin. Our Great-Great-Uncle Roberto was visiting from San Diego. Our Great-Great-Aunt Sophie made some delicious enchiladas for all of us. Actually, we fell asleep before dinner was done but Mama and Dada said they were the best.

"Tchoupi's Post"

Ahhhhh, afternoon sunbeams in the kitchen....how relaxing....

This is a new game.....well, o.k., I'm still pretty relaxed...

Um, hello?

You know I'm still under here, right?

OK, they have started covering themselves, maybe if I sit really still they will forget about me....

Nope, they found me again...

Come closer....I have something to ask you....

Closer......

Do I look like a happy cat?
