Late Fall, 2009

We have started to accessorize all on our own.....

Last Friday was Powderhorn Empty Bowls. It's a wonderful neighborhood fundraiser for local food shelves. It was a gorgeous day, we enjoyed our walk down to the park....

First we have to pick our handmade bowls.....tough choice.....

Next, some volunteers washed our bowls....

We took a peek into the kitchen and there was Mala! Our bowls were filled with delicious soup, we ate, visited, and made some new friends. Everyone was all smiles, kind of a huge neighborhood warm fuzzy....

The leaves have all fallen but the temperatures are still soaring! We'll take what we can get, the snow will come soon enough.

All the grown ups are busy outside too.....

We are pretty good at supervising these chores......

What did you do today? Oh, really? Well, we were pretty busy too. The U of M called and needed our awesome brains for a little research. All our hard work wearing the "spacehat", flying the spaceship and playing computer games earned us stickers, some M&Ms, U of M Junior Scientist t-shirts and 20 bucks! Just another day in the life of the Wonder Twins.

The Boy is Back is Town!


Coco has returned and is up to no good already. He ate the tomatoes that Tchoupitoulas pushed off the table for him, he ran away yesterday (two blocks is a long way for Mom to sprint) but the worst offense thus far.....

......He tried to eat our chocolate! We still love you Coco, but for the love of pete, leave our chocolate alone!

We love Fall in Powderhorn Park! The sun was shining after what seemed like an eternity of rainy days. Snow and rain by Saturday, so we'll soak up that glorious sun while we can!
