Lounging Lucy living the good life......

Lucy and Marigny should be very proud of themselves, they are growing into a chunky Monkey & Bear. They had their 4 month well baby appointment yesterday and Marigny weighed in at 10 pounds 8 ounces and Lucy came in at 10 pounds 5 ounces. The Dr. plugged their numbers into the growth chart and both girls actually made the chart without correcting their age. Developmentally they are about 2 months but on the 4 month chart Lucy's weight and length are in the 1st percentile and her head circumference is in the 20th percentile. Marigny's weight and length are in the 2nd percentile and her head circumference is in the 25th percentile. We don't stress too much over these charts but Nick and I couldn't help but laugh about their head circumference. We wondered what percentile they would be at on the 2 month chart?!! I'll have to google it and get back to you. Both girls are running a low fever today from the shots so we are in our jams and be lounging all day. Happy Saturday! Oh, and Happy Twelfth Day, the Mardi Gras Season has officially begun so bust out your king cakes!!!!!

While we were up North for New Years, we met some of Grandma and Papa Bear's neighbors. Here we are with Jewel and Ellie (Marigny left and Lucy right).....

Here we are lounging with Auntie Kay in her recliner.....

We were so lucky to be able to take our first sauna at Danny and Kay's house! Our Mom and Dad took thier first married sauna there too! Here I (Lucy) am on the bench after my sauna getting dried off and dressed.......

Auntie Kay and Grandma are holding us in the sauna's changing room, just look at all the names on the wall. Well, since we saunaed there too we got to put our name on the wall right next to Mom and Dads' names.....
We were pretty tuckered after the sauna so Uncle Danny was kind enough to hold us while we napped. Mom got to eat some ice cream and put some lotion on her face, she was happy!

Here are some pictures of us taking our first sauna....

Here I am watching TV, an episode of Friends. My parents bribed me to help them make some Christmas presents for my family. They let me watch as long as I cooperated with them. I think I did a pretty good job because they let me watch the whole episode!-Marigny

HAT BLOGGING!!!!

It has been quite some time, but we have some squirrely hats from the Boehly Family in Salt Lake City, thank you! We really like to wear these hats and sleepers because our Papa Bear Penn and Hey You Adelman really don't like squirrels at all and it must irritate them to see how cute we look wearing squirrel clothes. They do mean things to squirrels, things that we won't repeat for the fear that some government agengy might take them away for squirrel cruelty.

Hey! I thought this was just a routine diaper change?! Where are my clothes? Why is my tushie cold?-Marigny
Hmmmmm, what can I do to convince Mom and Dad that watching TV is good for me...?-Lucy

My sister can be such a trouble maker. I will just sit here and look sweet, anything to avoid naked diaper changes!-Marigny
Lucy's butt makes a great pillow!-Tchoupitoulas

We have been sooooooooooo busy that whenever Mom or Dad take pictures of us we are asleep. Practicing how to talk is very tiring, as is making our sad faces to get our parents to pick us up and cuddle. We can say aahh now and are trying to eat our hands all the time, that makes for very drooly faces! And we can't say enough about ceiling fans! We try to watch TV but our parents don't seem to like that.....yawn........time to go back to sleep.....
